Ubuntu DHCP Server

Install and configure DHCP Server on Ubuntu 20.10

Install

sudo apt install isc-dhcp-server -y

Configure

First define LAN adapter
sudo nano /etc/default/isc-dhcp-server
Now configure your settings
sudo nano /etc/dhcp/dhcpd.conf
Now set ipv4 forwarding
sudo nano /etc/sysctl.conf
Uncomment the following
net.ipv4.ip_forward=1
Restart DHCP Service
sudo systemctl restart isc-dhcp-server.service
List Current DHCP Leases
dhcp-lease-list
